Red Ribbon Week

Red ribbon week focuses on educating students about healthy choices, especially the choice to avoid drugs. We want our students to sing the praises of drug free living and band together against drugs. During this week we encourage all of our students and staff to participate in the fun activities.

Monday: Red Ribbon Kickoff-Everyone wear your favorite red outfit today

Tuesday: Sock It To Drugs- Everyone wear crazy socks today

Wednesday: One School One Goal-Drug Free- Everyone wear your Jackson Jaguar t-shirt and jeans today

Thursday: Put a Cap on Drugs- Everyone wear your favorite cap/hat today

Friday: Jackson Jaguars Team Up Against Drugs- Everyone wear your favorite team jersey or t-shirt today and jeans

We ask that you wear your Red Ribbons all week. We would like to thank Chevron for providing ribbons for the students and staff. These ribbons will be given out on Monday. We would also like to thank the PTO for providing other treats the students will receive throughout the week.

4-H National Youth Science Day!

Thursday, October 6th, 4th graders at our school will join millions of young people across the nation to become scientists for the day in the Wired for Wind: 2011 National Science Experiment, which will demonstrate how young people can implement alternatives to traditional energy production and have a positive impact on their communities and ecosystems.

Early Bird Learners

If your child has been invited to be an early bird learner, please make every effort to have them at school by 7 am. Your child will still be allowed to get the free school breakfast at 7:20 when they leave the computer lab from their learning period. This computer time is very beneficial in helping to meet your child's best educational needs. Early bird learners is by invitation only, so please get some rest and get there early!More
